Care For Your Head is a soft, warm headband with a three-layered woolblend. The natural air flow is heated by your own warmt and keeps the layers of wool extra warm. The headband is comfortable at low temperatures as it is (and under a hoody if windy). I prefer headband over a cap, but I am accustomed to -18c to -20c /-0,4F to -22F (and lower if windy). At these temperatures you might want a hoody of i.e. down on top of it, but you might as well find it more comforthable with a wool hat.
