In this article written by Astrid Klungseth, we get a deeper understanding of how the sadist views the world around him-/herself, and she provides an insight into what may have created this monstrosity we call Sadism. 
 
It is important to note that Astrid's scientific insight is not of the "traditional-natural scientific psychology" most people know of, but the Scientific Humanistic  Psychology.
 
This is fundamentally important to keep in mind, as it will be stated in the article that: You must have a deeper understandindg of humanistic science to be able to offer clients help with the methods of this paradigm. 
This article will not give you knowledge to clincally help a sadist, but give help to understand oneself either one behaves in accordance with a sadistic mind or not, it's not a recipe, but one's suffering might ease to a level where insigth can pawe it's way towards a healthy psyche.
